The Decorah lamp’s design highlight is its base, which looks like a breaking wave, the moment captured in glass. But its detailing is also abstract, with swirls of blue, white and a touch of earthy-browns creating a picture not in the glass, but in your mind’s eye. This, more than any single picture could, demonstrates the majestic nature of the sea. Atop the ovoid base is a simple white linen hardback shade with a slight conical shape. The lamp also features a crystal base and finial to complete its elegant approach to lighting.
